The Montgomery Education Foundation was created in 2004 to provide financial support for Montgomery High School and its programs, promote community involvement, and preserve and document the history and traditions of Montgomery High School. The mission of the Montgomery High School Education Foundation (MEF) is to enrich the learning environment for all students at Montgomery High School. Public funding for academics, school activities and school improvements is becoming increasingly scarce. Important avenues for learning and enrichment such as Music, Drama, Athletics, Art, Forensic, Leadership and Photography have become reliant on outside support for their operations. Because of the generous donations of our school community, the MEF has made contributions to the following groups and programs: Technology Committee, Classroom Supplies, Field Trips, Teacher Wish Lists, Student Leadership, AVID, International Baccalaureate Program, Special Day Class, Band, Choir, Drama, Art, School Clubs, Teacher Appreciation Luncheons, Campus Beautification, Project Grad, Spirit Team, Booster Club, California League of High Schools, IB Film, Photography Dept, Valued Viking Awards, and incentives and supplies for testing. The MHS Education Foundation is a tax-exempt 501c (3) non-profit organization and your donation are tax deductible to the extent allowed by the Internal Revenue Code.
